Horseman

A veteran of UK reggae, Horseman brings unmistakable vocals, lyrical flair and decades of sound system experience to One Drop with Reggae Roast

With more than four decades in reggae, Horseman is an MC and drummer whose career connects some of the genre’s most respected names. Raised in a musical family, with a sound system operator father and singer mother, his love of rhythm started early. He has worked with Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Scientist and Prince Fatty, who produced his debut solo album Dawn of the Dread in 2014. Behind the drum kit, he has played with artists including Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott, Barrington Levy and John Holt. Joining the Reggae Roast crew at One Drop, Horseman brings his distinctive voice, playful delivery and years of stage experience to the mic. Expect personality, rhythm and plenty of energy beside the Humber Bridge.
